Charles Manson associate Bruce Davis granted parole

The decision does not mean necessarily that Davis will walk free. There's a 120-day internal review period. When that's done, Gov. Jerry Brown will have 30 days to nullify or modify the decision -- meaning that, if everything goes his way, Davis could still be looking at another four months behind bars.
