On one of the nightly news shows they had a crowd of people waiting in lines for BP money. The chick with three kids to support who had made her living selling fish and seafood and hasn't worked for two months was waiting to get the check of $300 when she actually needed $600 just to pay her rent. She was all weepy and shit.
Now it turns out recipients of any money they receive they must pay taxes on, while of course BP gets to write all that money off on their taxes.
It's the American Way!
